Within the past week or so, someone in a reply had a link which spoke of the orgins and effects of certain types of music.
I forgot to mark it, and a search came up empty. Any help finding it would be greatly appreciated.

Careful,
My youth pastor when I was a teen tried to use some complete crap to show that syncopated beats do X (completely wreck your body and soul) and nice churchy music makes you strong and wholesome.
He did not like it when I showed him his "theory" was an ancient heresy rooted in Roman and Greek theology.
Music has an effect on you based not so much on rhythm and sound, but how much you like or dislike the music. I liked rock and metal and I made me happy, it made my youth pastor feel like he was being taken over by Lucifer

Sounds like you had a good youth pastor. Hopefuly, the words in the music you listen to presently glorifies God. Regardless of style. Be careful joking about Lucifer, and holding grudges against your former youth pastor. Don't hold onto bitterness. Forgive and press on.
The link I saw here was needed for educational purposes about music effects.
