Has anyone ever used either the Sig Tac-Jacket with the internal weapon pockets or the Bullet 50 (http://www.bullet50.com/) concealment pants? Are these things really useful or just tacticool gimmicks?

I've got the jacket. There are elastic gun holders on both sides (inside velcro'ed pouchs), a plus for me, since I'm a lefty. It's not "quick draw" by any means, but it works. The jacket is very heavy and warm, if that helps.

I just got the SigTac coat and love it. I can carry my G26 in the elastic holder an extra mag in the left pocket and my P3AT in the right pocket. What I did was put another piece of velcro over the piece on the flap. That speeds up the draw. It also quiets down the draw if you need to to draw stealthy. Another plus is you can remove your outer garmet when your inside warm stores and such and still be concealed.

Did anyone else notice that two out of the three styles of the Bullet 50 concealment pants are for sale to law enforcement only?

Besides that, the front pockets seem to be made inaccessable because of the special-use additions to them (magazine pockets, etc.).

Lastly, they do not have double fabric from just below the crotch to the ankles, so they cannot be tacticool.

stay safe.

Not to hi-jack this thread, but I wear Carhartt clothing religiously; due to
the fact that their pants with deep pockets offers excellent concealment
opportunties. Its my preferred attire for all types of occassions~!;) :D

I have the SigTac. It looks just like a normal Carhartt which blends in nicely around the town I live in.

It works pretty well with my Sig 220, but not perfect. It's nice to have in the car as the seatbelt usually blocks access to my paddle holster.

Drawbacks? It lists quite noticeably to one side when unzipped due to the weight. The butt of the gun also pokes out somewhat, but nobody seems to notice.

I'm glad I bought it though. Really comes in handy when you just want to be inconspicuous.

I buy my "concealment clothing" at Express, Armani, The Men's Wearhouse, Banana Republic... even the Gap.

*** is up with "concealment clothing"? It's a gimmick. If you need a SigTac coat to hide your gun, you need to learn a little more about concealment. Or get a more concealable gun.

A good holster/belt combo will do you far more good than tactical underwear.

BTW, before it sounds like "I have no trouble hiding my KelTec", I should mention that my CCW is a Sig P226 9mm (previous to that, my CCW was a Sig P220 .45)
