I think the first time I , like others, flew over to THR after the TFL'S passing, I noticed a description that I felt was shortsighted. The SHOTGUN forum description. Social work? What is that? :scrutiny:

How about Home defense, hunting, clays, shotguns do it all. :D Just my 2.

That was a try at humor. Social shotgunning = defensive uses.

I have long used the term "serious social purposes." On a very few occasions it has struck the right note with a thinking anti (I did write FEW!) and led to worthwhile discusssion.
