I have recently moved to the Columbus, OH metro area and I am looking for a good range in the area. I prefer private clubs but would consider public outdoor ranges. I woud like to find a place with a 25 yard handgun and a 100 yard rifle range. Can anyone recommend a range? Thanks

There's also Centerburg Sportsman's club, about 35 minutes from Columbus. 25 yard pistol, 150 yard rifle and a good trap range. $45 per year, no bs.

PM me if you want contact info. BTW, welcome to the area, glad to have another shooter in our ranks. We're planning a Spring THR shoot at my range (I have private range)....so look for that post and don't be a stranger.

Another indoor range is Ohio Valley Outdoors in Lancaster, about 20 minutes south of Columbus. It also has a pawn shop! :D

They keep a nice selection of guns onhand, plenty to fondle and drool over.

It's a decent range, half the price of New Albany, but not as fancy either.

Only 25 yards though, but if it's raining...

Located on Rt. 33 at the edge of town.
