The decocker on my cz52 does'nt work. Is there any way I can disable the decocker to where it will not drop the hammer? I dont like the idea that my safety doubles as a trigger.:what:

replace the parts.
cz52 suicide decockers are common. NEVER use the decocker on a live round unless you are prepared for a bang! with the 52.

i love the gun but it has quite a few shortcomings.

a very accurate gun however that punches through most things.

How accurate is your CZ? The best I have managed to get mine to do is 6 or 7 inches at 20 yards, and the bullet holes string up and down which I think is due to the barrel wiggling up and down in the slide.

The only fix I know of is a "real gunsmith only" bit of work. On the whole I would treat the CZ-52 for what it is. A 50+ year old firearms that is fun at the range. I absolutely love mine but I would never carry it around loaded, cocked n' locked. It's just too old and too quirky.

My own personal wishlist is for a pistol that combines the lockup of the CZ-52, ambi safety, a decocker you can trust, and modern ambi magazine release all chambered in the 7.62 Tokarev. That is my dream. <sigh>.

Oh and my CZ is pretty accurate when I'm feeling up to it.
