I was at a gun shop earlier and me and the dealer started talking about different caliber AK's and I asked 'how common is 5.45mm?' and I believe he basically said that 5.45mm is not being seen much because of low importation and low stocks or even no stock of 5.45mm in some places of the US. I was getting the feeling that this was becoming permanent.

They had 500rds(five-hundred) of 5.45mm WOLF for........$150!!!!!!!:what:

They also had bags of 50rds(fifty) for $18.

But all the internet sites have them $140-180 per 1,000. So what's going on?

I am really looking forward to getting a WASR-2 instead of a regular WASR but I think I'm going to be disappointed.

They seem to have it in stock. I don't see that ammo at shops. I see it at the occasional gun show and on line. At a common gun show in Houston, there are a couple of ammo sellers that usually either have Wolf or that corrosive surplus ammo.
