Occasionally I run across a post or a thread that I figure would be of interest to someone else.

My computer skills aren't too good.

Is there a way that I can fwd complete threads or an imdividual post to an e-mail address?

Thanks,

salty.

You can either:

- copy/paste the URL that appears in your address bar when viewing a particular thread (such as this for your thread and my response: http://thehighroad.org/showthread.php?p=3136511&posted=1#post3136511 )

...or...

- click on the individual post number that is usually in the upper right hand corner of said post and copy that URL as it appears in the address bar (like so http://thehighroad.org/showpost.php?p=3136511&postcount=2 )

A third option is to use the "Email this page" tool. You'll find it under "Thread tools" in the menu bar at the top of the thread contents. That tool will email the link to the thread to the person(s) for which you have entered email addresses.

Thanks, guys. Ran across this while looking for something else (how to post pics). Knew how to copy and paste as in first reply but the other to were educational; I'm computer illiterate! However, I have another problem. SWMBO "updated" the 'puter, now I also have Google and Yahoo toolbars across the top, dunno why, but now when I highlight the addy (url?) bar and click edit, the copy function isn't available, so how do I forward or link??
Frustrated!!!!!!!!!

Bob, try this - after you highlight the address and without moving your cursor, press the right mouse button. You should get the cut/copy/paste options without having to select the Edit menu. (You can also use the keys ctrl + c to copy highlighted text, addresses, etc.)
