I am attempting to determine some information regarding the reduction in velocity and energy related to the various barrel lengths. Does anyone know what these percentages are?

According to Lyman's # 47 the changes in velocity for increase or decrease in barrel length goes as follows:

Change in length Vel

1000 1500 2000 2500 3000 3500 4000

1" +/- 5 10 15 20 25 30 35

The numbers increase or decrease at a constant rate so at 3" it would be 15 @ 1000 fps. etc. The energies would need to be recalculated but as you can see from the numbers the difference will not be all that great.
