Are there any ankle holsters out there that will fit various sized magazines? I have a BHP, a Makarov, a Colt .380 and hope to soon add a P-01 or 1911. I want to carry an extra magazine, but not in my pocket. I'm thinking an ankle holster will do well....not for the gun....just for a magazine or two. But it must fit various sizes (be nylon or have a strap or something).

I go to the flea market and buy cheap nylon knife sheaths for my Hi-Point carbine and KT P3AT mags. The leatherman leather sheath is a perfect fit for my PT-145 mag. For $2.00 each, you can't beat 'em. Smokey Mountain Knife Works sells assortments that will probably have something you can use.

How about the Cop Ankle Safe™ by Galco (http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterC3.asp?ProductID=2018&CatalogID=320)?
I've seen those advertised at closer to $30 than to that price on Galco's site. It looks like you can get it for a specific caliber and capacity of magazine, too.

Desantis makes a double mag ankle holster. I can't seem to link directly to Desantis's website right now, but here is another website with a pic of one.http://www.newyorkironworks.com/desanneopdou.html

Desantis makes a double mag ankle holster. Now that's kinda cool, too.
I suggested the Galco because I knew they made "something other than (handgun) ankle holsters," and didn't know of anyone else making "other" gear on ankle bands.
My Det. Spl. sometimes goes with me in a Desantis Apache ankle rig, which I like pretty well so far. That double mag pouch might be handy for hauling around some Speed Strips on the other ankle.
I can't seem to get to desantisholster.com right now, either. "Firefox can't find the server."

Thanks for the info.
