More accurately, will the 700 barrel fit the 721 without a bunch of alteration?

do you want a rem 721 BBL? I have a 308 win 721 bbl I could sell you if it hasn't been snapped up over at auctionarms.com

what is really cool about the 721/722 is they are inexpensive and everything from a 700 will fit/can be made to fit w/ minimal effort.
