Norinco 97T (Winchester 1897) questions

So I've got one of these cool shotguns and its a blast (no pun intended) to play around with, it also would make a gread HD shotgun if the need arises.

Here is my question:

How do I take this thing apart, clean it, lube it, and put it back together? The Chinese are apparently trying to wage a psychological battle on us round-eyes by not including any owner's guides in their shotgun boxes!

you don't. The norinco's are non takedown models.

So I don't take the bolt or anything out? I just do the best I can from the outside?

Are you sure you know what I'm talking about? I know the difference between a takedown model and a solid one. I'm not trying to twist the barrel and mag tube off. I just want to clean this bad boy.

The best I could get mine down to was to remove the mag tube. I never found a way to get the bolt out. I did have a nor97 that I tried to get apart. I never got it completely apart, but it never worked right when I got it back together. So I just do the best I can from the outside.

I think I'll look for an old US military field manual until I can talk to someone who knows more than you or I about this weapon. Thanks for trying, RCR29.
