My CZ-97B barrel was returned to me today, back from CZ-USA where it got a throat and polish. Turnaround time was exactly two weeks from the day I mailed it, with two weekends and one holiday in between.

Unfortunately, duty calls this weekend, and I have Guard Drill, so I can't test it out. However, next week I'll pick up a couple of brands of JHP ammunition and see how she shoots. If you recall, before it wouldn't reliably feed ANY JHP ammunition, though it was as reliable as the sunrise with FMJ.

A range reliability report will follow.

Mike is good...
I expect this to solve the issue.

Now, you got the extra power spring and FLGR, right?

Then yeah, you should be all set.

Have fun at Drill.

Got the guide rod and a Wolf 16 pound spring installed. I haven't used the 16 pound yet and am going to give it to a whirl.

Have fun? Honestly, I've been in a funk all week and really don't feel like going this weekend.

Of course, the Army doesn't give a crap about what I FEEL, so long as I do my job. :o

So, see ya Sunday night, everybody!

Ugh...quartering party...MOPP IV...:barf:
