for a winchester lever action that my great grandfather had. its mine now. i found one place but its almost $1 a round. i guess they don't make that anymore. maybe there is a cowboy enthusiast site that sell them cheaper?

on that round though i would buy a few boxes. maybe as much as a hundred rounds. mostly for the brass. then learn how to reload. anyone can teach you how to reload. i can reload a round in about a minute or less. you really neeed to get into it. if you plan on keeping this gun

If you reload then Midway swlls both brass and bullets. Large Rifle primers, 6-8gr Unique, and a 18gr cast lead bullet. I use my 1892 with this load in CASS matches.

Looks like midwayusa.com is your best bet on loaded ammo too.
