I have a tac star WLS-2000 light system mounted on my 1100 20ga. has worked good in armadillo hunting. however when I change out batteries, the pressure pad pulls loose from the velco leaving the velco hook and eye together
you are removeing the pad so you can turen the cap.
after first time,I reglued switch to velco useing black max glue but pad pulled loose again.
other than reglueing and other suggestions???

Perhaps you can try RTV / silicone . Let it dry and it will be flexable which might work. Or hot glue may also work. Whatever is used it should be somewhat flexable or it will not hold onto that elastic type band.

If that fails, perhaps just a small safety pin at the front of the pressure switch.

I used model airplane glue (super glue for model kits stuff).Dries fast, designed for bonding plastic, rubber, etc and is plenty strong.Havent had any problems since. Oh, and its fun to put in a paper bag and inhale....:neener: (Just kidding on that part-Dont do that! :D )

Just get new velcro? Or double sided tape (works better IMO)?
