I was bad today

I went to a local shop today to buy some ammo, ended up perusing the handguns (big surprise). Handled a few I'd not touched before, talking to the clerk, I said "let me see that CZ 97" and gave a once over (I've probably once-overed this pistol about 20 times before:rolleyes: ).
Next thing I know, I hear someone say" let me put a deposit on that", I look around, no-one there. Oops, that was me!
I swear, I had no intention of buying anything else all year, really!
I told my wife I was through for awhile:o
I'm going to have some trouble explaining this one:eek:
But, it is a cool gun!
As Jim Carrey said in that movie "somebody STOP me!
:what:

Sorry, fella, you've come to the wrong place for that kind of help.

It needed a good home. It was being neglected, possibly even abused, in that gun shop. You've done it a kindness. It will reward you. Your karma has been improved.
The little lady will understand.

Hmmm, guess it was like throwing gasoline on the fire, asking for help here:evil:
I have a couple of Springfields that I like a lot, so I think it'd be a tall order to replace them, but this pistol had a very sweet DA/SA trigger, better than my CZ 75B by far. The DA was very smooth, almost like my Sig and that says a lot. The SA trigger was obviously shorter, but very crisp, unlike the CZ 75B , which took over 1k rounds to get bettr and was still a longer pull.
I think this is gonna be a good one. I just have been wanting a .45 in another platform, slightly different than the 1911. Looked at the Ruger P90, but didn't warm up to it, but the CZ has always called to me, so, I figure today was like being guided onto the rocks by the Siren's call like in the Odyessy.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Or, as one of my favorite comedians has said, " uh, Sirens, rocks, uh, yeah, that's the ticket ".;)

I saw this in a movie once... "Fight Club".
The guy has like 2 personalities or something.
You are so screwed.
Your other side is getting a 97B. Next he is going to be looking at that SIG and that Browning... Your going to start finding rifles standing up in the closet.
There is only one thing to do.
Your smart and practical side needs to buy a big safe so there is a good place to lock them all up in... and don't tell your other side what the combo is!
