No.
The .22 WMR uses a larger case than the .22 LR, both in diameter and length. Putting .22LR in a .22 WMR chamber is courting disaster.

Yes and No. But mostly No. To the question of "can you fire .22 lr in a .22 magnum revolver?" Yes you can. It can be done. The .22lr case will split & bulge in a most unpleasant way, and may well damage your gun/hand/etc. Your accuracy(sp?) will also suffer to the point that there really isn't a point to doing this.
So - Can you? Yes. Should you? Not if you like to have ten pretty fingers like the most of men.

They do make revolvers that will fire both, but the cylinder has to be swapped out in order to accomodate the caliber change. You cannot simply place a .22LR into a .22Mag and expect it to work safely and well.
NAA makes mini-revolvers that convert from one to the other, not sure who might currently make a full sized one that does. Somewhere around here I have an icky old HR that does it, too, but they're long out of business.
Edited to add: I've never seen a DA that does the trick. Not sure how that would work, mechanically, though I'm pretty sure if someone put their mind to it they'd figure out a way.
