I posted this on the S&W Forum:


The local news said that the R & G Club may be able to re-open after the Forest Service shut it down approximately 5 to 6 years ago.
Complete details about the required changes to the range were not released & the Forest Service still has to rule on the application.
A second TV station said that the Club had a year to remove everything from the site but it could apply for another permit if certain changes are made.

Personally I wish the Forest Service didn't have the authority they do.
To close off ranges that have existed for years without cause is abuse of power. Power that should be removed from them.

That said, I wish the media would get their facts straight and quit confusing us.
