Ok guys, i thought i should share this finding with you. Behold the photo of prototype SIG-Sauer P221 pistol (a double-stack version of P220 with 10-round mag)

This one was recently sold in Switzerland, from former SIG factory collection, and one nice guy from Belgium, who attended the auction, was nice enough to photograph this gun and send me a photo.

Anyhow, enjoy:

there were at least 2 P221 prototypes sold in 2600 - 2900 USD range (assuming today's exchange rate between USD and Swiss Franc).
the same auction also sold several 9mm P220 prototypes from 1969 in 2600-3000 USD range.

I wish Sig would make the Sig 221(or any double stack/high capacity 45) make this come to life. Can't
