How many people own more than one j-frame? Just curious.
I own a 342 pd and a 649 (38 spl. only). Hope to get a 332 in the near future. Show pics if you got'em.

Stainless Chiefs Special, given to me by hippie stepson. Daughter in law's g-ma died of old age a few years ago, and they found it underneath the sofa cushion. Could not hardly stand that little golf club grip, so I put a pachmeyr combat grip and it is sure fun.

Also a 34 on an improved I-frame, which is kinda like a J-frame, only not.

Man, a second j-frame is a great idea in these days of Sc/Al frames! One for each hand! :)
Save weight in not having to carry a wallet anymore, too, since you won't have anything left to carry in it! :D

Only one right now (using a loose definition of a J-frame that includes Taurus), a Taurus 85CH that is sitting at my FFL after winning on auction and waiting for it to get here, now I get to wait for the 7 day waiting period.
Anyway, I plan to have more follow (some probably not that long from now). By the end of the summer I want the new Taurus 905 (9mm snub). I would like a lightweight aluminum S&W .38 Centennial soon and I have been interested in an older 1 7/8" S&W 60LS chambered in .38spl. Lately, I've had my eye on a .38spl 3" S&W 60LS a local dealer has which would make a good IWB gun (after I leave MD) when I didn't want a K-frame or an auto. I also intend to purchase a .22lr snub, either a Taurus 94 or a S&W J-frame as a "snub trainer" for cheap and comfortable practice so that I can get to be a good shot with a 2" small snub.

I have a 342 and a 940, but if S&W ever offers a 349 in 9mm I might be tempted to dump the two I have.

I have a 442 and a 649. Okay, the 649 was purchased by, and still is my father's, but if I have it I should be able to count it. Right?

By my count, two: M-37 and a M34. used to have another M37 but gave it to a son. Used to have a pre-M36 Chiefs Special, but it went with first wife in the divorce.
I thought J frames were S&W revolvers. If it just means small revolver, I could count my Colt Agent. If it just means a small handgun, should I count my smaller auto pistols? Let's see - - - PPK, P11, P32, uh - - -
Nope, just two J frames.

Thank you, JFrame,
I like my 317. Its fun to shoot and carry because it is so light. Mine is the 3" barrell with the HiViz sights. The longest distance I have shot it is 50 feet and I got about 3" groups. The trigger may not be as good as the old M63, but because of its weight I enjoy carrying it in the field.

After realizing that I had the unlucky number of THIRTEEN J-frames, I ran out today and got a nice little 4" 631. So now I have FOURTEEN and one K-frame. Buy the way, with the exception of this new 631 and one of my 63's the other twelve are all STUBBIES ;)

Traded a model 60 Chief in 38 spec., for a model 649 in 357 mag.
Only difference I csn see is the 1/8" longer bbl. on the 649 and that "Infernal" lock that IMO, just looks like a defect in the metal.
Shoots great with reloads 5.5 231 pushing a 150 gr SWC. Mild recoil and good accuracy. Factory 125 JHPs are not as much fun to shoot, but I like the increased stopping power.
Still prefer my 45 acp.

It must be nice to be able to run our and "find" a nice 631. I haven't seen one in years.
