Hydration Systems

I have decided to finally jump on the bandwagon and find myself a good hydration backpack.

I am a fugitive recovery agent and, in the past, have had to do surveillance from woodland areas. So I definately want to stick with earth tones (olive drab, foliage green, coyote brown, etc.). I also am an avid camper and I am considering taking up hunting.

Do you suggest something with good storage like a Blackhawk 3-day assault back? Or should I keep it small with something like a Blackhawk Barracuda or Cameblak MULE or Ambush?

Is Camelbak or Blackhawk (Hydrastorm, I guess) superior over the other? Any specific model suggestions?

Thanks.

I would say the smaller system. I'm guessing in your line of work there's a chance you would have to drop what you're doing and chase someone. Taking off a big pack might hamper you.

I have tried the Camelbak and the Hydrastorm (Blackhawk's version) and I would go with the Camelbak. It is easier to reattach the lid on the Camelbak due to the Camelbak having larger threads than the Hydrastorm.
