I think on all these gun websites I read there needs to be an acronyms page. I know or can figure most of them out, but I think a lot of newbies are lost(like I was) when they first start reading these messageboards.

Here's one brief glossary from our friends at www.packing.org:

This one only has gun acronyms though, not basic net message board acronyms.

Some others are:

YMMV - Your mileage may vary
AFAIK - As far as I know
RTFM - Read the f***ing manual
IMHO - In my humble opinion

That's all that comes to mind now. Maybe you can think of some others that stumped you when you first joined to add to the list.
