shotgun pistol grip + folding stock = 'assault weapon' ?

I read a page (somewhere) that said you can't have a pistol grip and > 5 rounds capacity.

From reading the ATF website, that only appears to apply to semi-automatic shotguns.

Of course I haven't researched Ohio law yet. Anybody, off hand, have further information?

Perhaps it's time to search here for information, my wife can't quite handle the kick of even the whimpiest 12ga I could find.. Perhaps this is the ticket..

As stated, you're good to go. The firearms defined by the government are Semiautomatic Assault Weapons. A definition that the US government made up and which everyone else in the world claims does not exist.

BTW, if you're thinking of adding a folding stock to your pump shotgun, be prepared for some major recoil.
