Hi to all,

I am 40 Cal. I am a stay at home mom I cook and love to go out to the range to relieve stress. It really does work.

I like to gab and put together puzzles and protect my 2 year old son from intruders or anyone that tries to do him harm. I have lived in Tucson for 8 years and have been married for 5 of those years. I have a 9 year old Cocker Spaniel and a 5 years old cat.

I do like to brag about them and I like to learn new things. I am not into the techincal part of guns my hubby teaches me most of that. I also hate it when my 2nd ammendment rights are threatened I do what I can to help stop them from being taken away. I am a registered voter and when it's time to vote I do it.

Welcome! I think that you will find this an interesting and thought-provoking place to spend some time. We have a number of female members who represent all levels of firearms knowledge and expertise, most of it quite good. We look forward to your frequent participation.

Glad you made it.
So, given your screen name, what is your favored .40 S&W?

The Compact Witness 40 or the full size. They are so sweet to shoot. I have tried revolvers and all they do is give me blisters and I can't shoot very well with them either. Nothing wrong with them but I shoot better with an automatic weapon.

I have shot a Daewoo, 22, SKS, AK47. Would love to shoot a Henry.

Recon By Fire,

This stay at hom mom loves to shoot when I can get down to the range. When the outdoor range opens back up I am going to check it out and see if I like it better than in indoor one.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. I really apperciate it....:D

Welcome to THR 40Cal...

I'm a relative newbie myself, and I have found every on this board to be helpful, polite (mostly ;) ) respectful and willing to help others.

Darn nice group of people to hang around

"Yes I agree and I am wondering if y'all need any help keeping men in line around here?"

It will never happen! Even Tamara can't do that.

But, you are welcome to try. :D

Thank you but I wasn't serious. I hope to learn more about guns and see what else is out there that I might be able to handle.

"Thank you but I wasn't serious."

No problem, we tend to kid each other quite a bit around here. Relieves tension and helps pass the time.

"I hope to learn more about guns and see what else is out there that I might be able to handle."

Well, this is certainly the place to do it. No matter what your question you should be able to find someone who has experience with the subject and can help you. That's one of the best things about this forum, people really like to help others.

Welcome 40cal. from yet another noob. It's going to be interesting to see how many other enlightened women like yourself are going to stop lurking, & join. I was amazed at the number of women nationwide becoming involved with the shooting sports-hunting, skeet, trap, sporting clays, cowboy action etc. What a wonderful revolution we'll experience when it really kicks in.............Wayne:D

Is it just me or are there a lot more members? Yeah, I think Oleg lowered the price to register on THR. That's good because $400 just seemed a little much to me. Sure, I could have bought a gun or two, but it's been worth it for the information.

Greetings 40 Cal!

What? Everyone had to pay to register, right? :uhoh: ;)
