I bought a box of PMC 5.56 m193. The back of the box reads designed by PMC republic of Korea. The bottom around the primer has Nov 79 5.56 and either PS or FS.

shoot ten thousand rounds of it, throw the gun in the closet without cleaning, in 50 years if the barrel is pitted, it was corrosive. Did someone tell you that corrosive is scary? Send it to me.

Assume that it is corrosive and clean your rifle accordingly.
I have some Wolf 223 from the mid 80's that damn sure is corrosive.

No 5.56 ammo has corrosive primers. PMC is good stuff.
