The Glock 21SF is hitting the market by storm but I have yet to hear of a holster being made for it. Either duty, tactical or CCW, anyone know of any holsters being made for the 21SF .45ACP?

Well I could be lacking all of the information to answer this completely correct...but the slimmer grip wont affect holster choice at all. The frame is the same width as is the trigger guard and slide. The rail isnt anything new that I can see anyway...and the ambi mag release shouldnt affect holsters either.

Leather stuff for the std. 3rd gen G21 should work great for it...kydex may be a little different if the rail is slightly repositioned. Hope that helps.....

Shoot well and god bless

The new "full length picatinny rail" drops significantly from the original, or at least appears to when I held one. I don't see it fitting into any of the molded kydex or leather holsters, but I've been wrong before.

Well...youre right. The rail drops below the muzzle a tad more than other G21's but shouldnt be that hard to make work with proper modifications to the mold...at least for leather holsters.

from what i have read there is an OPTION to have the picatinny rail or not. i know that i am not interested in the new style rail. i guess if i have to wait for dealers to get the standard one in i will... i hope i dont have to special order it.

We have tested them and they fit the GenIII G21 holsters.

I have also heard it is an option, but the full rail is the only version I have run across and, being an impatient SOB, that is the model I purchased. For those that have tried it with it working in a Gen III holster, what model of holster did you try? Thanks.

Anyone have any suggestions about something useful for that full picatinny rail that the standard couldnt accomplish? Aside from... a vertical grip? ;)

We have tested them and they fit the GenIII G21 holsters.
Which ones were those again? I tried one in a Kramer, Desantis, Galco, and Bladetech and none of them worked. They were holsters for a Glock 20/21 w/rail and couldn't get in even close to the triggerguard with that monster rail on it. The idea of a smaller grip G21 is great, but with the holster problems I found I'll pass till they lose that dealbreaker.

Blade Tech makes a couple different belt holsters for the G21SF with the picatinny rail. I just talked to the guy today.
They're good people and make a quality product.

You can definitely get them without the Picatinny rail. This is the "GR" (Glock rail) option when ordering.
