Looks like 1986-1987...more likely 86 since the dash-ones came out in 1987.
Mine was manufactured in 1983 with this s/n:ABW 27xx

VonFatman seems to be in the ballpark compared to the "Standard Catalog".

Jan, 1986 - AHC 1687
Jul, 1987 - AVB 8654

Are you aware of the firing pin recall on these? Does it have an "M" stamped nexted to 686?

Thanks guys, I knew I could count on ya! :) I stumbled across the recall info while I was researching the beast and confirmed the presence of an "M" before I bought it, good to remind everyone though because I'm sure there are some out there that haven't had the work done.
