You believe anything a politician says about their plans five years from now? Have I got some ocean-front property for you...

The planets align, and Malone and I agree on something!
Can this be a sign of the Apocalypse?

If only. Too bad the trademark in that union is pathological mendacity.
Methinks the lady, arrogant as she is, would prefer to be drafted by an adoring public crying, "Caesar! Caesar!" Running for office is so beneath her.

I wouldn't believe that ugly shaved-Yeti beeyotch if she said her name was (insert name here: "she who's name shall remain unspoken").
:barf: :barf:
Don't you all remember how she said she wouldn't run for Senator?? She is counting on sheep with a faulty memory. :banghead:

she wants to win relection to her senate seat,
an agressive Hillary for President campaign would expose her carpetbag agenda

First off, no I don't believe anything a Clinton says.
It's still awfully stupid to give any 2008 opponent a ready made mudslinger about the pathological lying the former first couple of convenience share.

Saying "I have no intentions or plans to run" is NOT the same as saying "I will not run".
She will run, but first she has to re-win her Senate seat in '06 so she will have a springboard.

I think the above two statements pretty much nail it. She's afraid any concrete signs of presidential aspirations will sink her senate re-election.
Also, whether you believe he deserves it or not, Bush is riding high in popularity and I think (unless he REALLY screws up) has a 75% chance of getting re-elected. After 8 years of single party rule, we often end up electing a President from the other major party. If people are sick of 8 years of Republicans like they were sick of 8 years of Democrats in the last administration, you'll hear them cry "Oh Hillary, Hillary, please come help us." And she'll take up the call not for herself, but "for the people."
My only wish is that Condoleezza Rice runs on the Republican ticket in 2008. I think she would make a fine President and would keep Hillary from using gender as a vote gathering tool. Actually, I would like to see Rice run regardless of the gender issue and if Hillary runs or not.

I too think Condi Rice should run for president. Hmm...Condi for pres, Powell for vice.... it actually seems unassailable by the dems.

I'm not sure General Powell would be pro 2nd Amendment.
Condi's dad took a shotgun and with his neighbors
guarded his neighborhood when the KKK was running around.
So while I don't know her philosophy on 2nd Amendment issues
I'm sure she would be able to understand the need for citizens
rights to KABA!

The same sentiment here, I love Condi Rice. I think she could do a fine job. :)

Hangs it up? No way. She accomplished a few things with this book. One, of course, was to make $8,000,000. Second, though, she's defusing the whole Monica mess early on, much as John Kerry needed to defuse the VietNam friendly-fire incident.
She's also crippling the campaigns of the "who's" that are hoping to challenge Bush in '04 by having her and her husband hog the media spotlights. If Kerry, Edwards or Lieberman would win, Hillary's chances are shattered for 2008. Bill and Hillary are doing their best to ensure a Bush victory in order to pave the way for her annointment four years from now.

The innate stereotypic acts associated with [Narcissism] include flaunting body posturing, expansive arm gestures, bowing, colorful self-adornment, and a natural attraction to the limelight of personal recognition. Individuals of the pure Narcissistic type are competitive but non-aggressive in their strivings for recognition. The trait corresponds to a striving for ~glory~ in one's environment, hence is the second main component of human ambition. In a pejorative connotation the unbridled trait of narcissism may reveal itself in the context of conceit, exhibitionism, vanity and messianism. An associated innate facial expression is the radiant gingival smile (broadly exposing gums and teeth). The facial complexion tends toward blood red or ruddy in individuals of light skin color. Hallmarks of the trait include blushing, flushing, and a second mass discharge of the autonomic nervous system: the ~narcissistic rage~ of defense and withdrawal. During the expression of this rage the normally sanguine complexion becomes even more florid. From: Narcissism: A Genetic Trait (http://www.homestead.com/narcissism/)

Conceited people, on the other hand, are fools ignorant of themselves, who make themselves conspicuous by being so; they try for positions of honor under an impression of their own abilities, and then, if they get them, prove failures. They rig themselves up in fine clothes and pose for effect, and so on; they wish what good fortune they have to be known to the world, and talk about themselves, as if that were the road to honor... -- So boastful people, if their object is reputation, pretend to the qualities that win praise or congratulation, and, if their object is gain, pretend to qualities useful to their neighbors, their own lack of which cannot easily be proved, as, for example, a skill in prophesying or in healing... Aristotle, Nicomachean Ethics.

Pretty simple to me!
She wants George W to win in 2004, so she doesn't have to run against an incumbent Democrat in 2008?!
How's that for Party Loyality?
