Fred Thompson for president?

I was watching some sort of political show on Fox and Fred Thompson was on and he was being asked questions about where he stands on issues. He was asked where he stands on DC and handguns and said he beleives the Constitution says what it says and that we/they should be allowed to carry handguns. He was asked where he stands as far as this presidential election and made some comments that were almost like saying he was thinking about running.

I've liked this guy for a long time because I know he's a qualified lawyer and I enjoy watching him on Law and Order. Anyway, what do you guys think?
