After shooting in competition for over 25 years I decided to finally try a scope on my .22 Hamerlli but now I'm having problems with the brass ejecting all the way. I've cleaned and lubed the gun but still have the problem and was wondering if anybody else had the same problem with their 208s.

I'd suggest a call to Larry's Guns in Grey, Maine. (207) 657-4559. Or email him at info@hammerli.com.

If it fits your ammo budget, you might try hotter ammo such as CCI Green Tag, Winchester Silhouette, or other make of high-velocity or heavier bullet .22LR.

Thanks richardschennberg for the reply, that's what I'll probably try next or buy another recoil spring and cut it down, rchernandez Larry is a hard guy to get a hold of in fact his wife emailed me and said he was in Germany right now.

Ken Saunders is Larry's master gunsmith and may be able to be reached at the Maine office number.
