Gun cleaning techniques

Hi Fellows, Have any of you tried using an ultrasonic cleaning unit on your guns? I've talked to some folks that think highly of them, but I'd like to hear your thoughts (pro/con) on them. Like: How does polymer holdup to it? How about wood grips? Will doing it too much mess up the finish or plastic parts in a gun? Or....does anything take the place of good old fashend cleaning?:)

I don't see any cons using a medium briseled brush. I really don't see it making that much more of a difference in cleaning. Beside having to pay for the unit it's self, when a normal tooth brush works fine and cost about twenty time less.

Just use BreakFree CLP in the areosol can and you really don't have to worry about anything.
