I've been busy finishing projects lately and they all wrapped up at the same time. This pre-Series '70 Government Model was just completed for one of my Georgia Boys. His tastes run to Combat Special style blasters, as you can see from this one. The custom work includes:

Tightened slide to frame fit
Kart Match barrel & bushing
Heinie #300 sights, -w- front narrowed to .110"
Slide serrated on top (30 lpi around radius) and rear (40 lpi)
Ejection port lowered and fluted
Carry Bevel package
Yo-Bo ignition set
Wilson #6B thumb safety
Wilson #298 beavertail
Front strap high gripped & checkered 30 lpi
Baer flat serrated MSH
Beveled mag well
Hogue Cocobolo double diamond grips
Finished in two-tone blued upper and hard chrome by Metaloy lower

Well J, Your metal work looks really really good. If that blaster shoots half as good as it looks you are probably a pretty good 1911 smith. I can see a few of the things I am going to be looking for in a high-zoot custom blaster easily from your pictures which are very nice BTW.
