Bersa .45 Compact?

There's a Bersa Thunder .40 compact in a local shop for $355. Completely ambi controls, including slide stop. The safety is frame mounted, and features up-safe/down-fire, like a 1911 or my CZ. Placing the weapon on safe also decocks it.
The gun fits my hand very well. I imagine the .45 will be slightly bigger and heavier, but I'm interested.
Dealer says he can get one for me for a little more than the .40. A brand new compact .45 for under $400? I'm there.
So how are the Bersa Thunder .45s?
Oh, as an aside, the Thunder .40 had a MUCH nicer trigger than the SW99 .45ACP next to it.

I noticed that the Bersa and the Mini-Firestorm are nearly identical. Both their frames are marked as being made in Argentina.
Hmm...

So how come the same gun is being marketed as both the Bersa Thunder .45 and the Mini Firestorm?

All made by Bersa in Argentina, two different importers... Not wholly unlike a Marlin being also sold as a Glenfield. :D

SGS FireStorm is the importer for Bersa (and Llama) here in the US.

Nightcrawler (or anyone else)...
If you get/ have gotten it, don't forget a complete range report for your friends here at THR....that .45 has piqued my interest a little too.

Well my brother just the mini-firestorm .45 and shot it today. He was shooting low left also. The range officer told him he was most likely flinching and it was not the fault of the gun and if he came back when someone was there to watch the counter he would shoot it himself to make sure. But he said 100rds 230 gr fmj not a single problem.
