I guess I have to ask myself where have I been? My last gun purchase was last year. It came in from out of state and was DROSS'ed locally without tax. Now, I try the same thing and I have to pay state sales tax. Nowhere to hide. This is the pits.

The FFL who is processing your DROS is protecting his butt. State Board of Equalization is coming down hard on dealers. If he doesn't collect the sales tax from you, he is expected to pay it.

10% LOCAL income tax?!?! :barf:

I feel ripped off with 1%, paid to a city I don't even live in.

Last word I heard on the recall was that it is approaching "done deal" status. Of course that still leaves the nagging question of "can the Republicans in this state find someone to run who's actually worth voting for?"

I suppose that even if they cant come up with someone better than Simon or Lundgren it will at least be fun to watch the Dem's stabbing one another in the back and crawling over eachouthers bodys to replace davis.
