I'm looking for a supplier of new brass in various cartridges that requires berdan primers. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Scott

Requires berdan primers???????????

Most people want to find cases that accept boxer primers so they can make new ammo without haveng to deal with the berdan primers.

Are you sure you are not mistaking for boxer primers. Berdan primers are usually harder to find and more expensive. Boxer primers can be found anywhere that sells reloading supplies i mean any where. there are cheap too. lock stock and barrel sells boxer primers for as low as 2.30 for 100 primers.

CBC has just recently converted to Boxer for their brass shotshell hulls. There should be plenty of those still in the pipeline. Do you need some 24 ga?

Seek professional help. Only someone completely off their rocker would want to deal with Berdan primers...

Granted....it may seem like a strange request but it's what I'm looking for. I thought someone here might know of a suppiler of what will definately be europen brass. I don't seem to be able to find one but I would think the stuff is available since it's still used for some sporting rounds over there. Thanks.

I've gotten berdan 308 brass by putting a add on craigslist and other gun boards. Most people have heard that they are not reloadable or to difficult so they go straight the the scrap yard, by passing the secondary market. I've had good luck useing the RCBS berdan decapper and found a source for the large rifle primers 217 dia. Now I am in the same boat as you looking for berdan brass now that I have 5000 primers. No you don't have to be off your rocker, just dedicated to solving simple problems. But being off your rocker sure helps.
Good luck Scott, and don't let the naysayers slow you down.

I have 43 rounds of once fired GP-11 7.5x55 berdan primed brass. Have any interest in that?

Uncle Don since this is shooter93 post I'll try not to butt in to much, but if he doesn't want the brass for the 7.5x55 I'ld be happy to trade or buy what you have, within in reason

If you pm your name and address, I'll give it to you provided you pick up the postage. I haven't heard from the OP yet so I'll give it a couple more days for him to have first shot, but if not, I'll send it your way.
