I have a manual, but was wondering what you all use. Well I have a bunch of 110 gr bullets, L C 52 brass, H110 powder and CCI 400 primers. I want to reload a bunch of plinking rounds waiting for my CMP carbine any good safe and standard carbine loads.

Any one use H110

thanks

I've used a lot of H4227 but not H110 -
this page has about any load combo you'd like

Try 13.5 to 15.0(compressed) of IMR4227. Used H110, briefly, long ago, but found the accuracy of the 4227 is better. I've never used milsurp brass, so you'll have to reduce the load by 10%.
Speer 'plinker' 110 grain HP's work well in my rifle. Blows a hole the size of a grapefruit in a ground hog. I wouldn't think twice about using this load for deer either.

My information probably won't do you any good. I have surplus brass, bullets and powder - about the only thing 'new' are the WW Small Rifle Primers I use.

However, from my current carbine and one I had some thirty years ago, the best functioning and shooting loads are on the upper end of the scale. I'm not suggesting you start with absolute maximum loads - always work up from the bottom - but don't be surprized if you get pretty much to the top of the list before it starts working right.

Other notes: I've never had bullets of other than 110 grain work smoothly.
The Speer 100 grain plinkers work okay for plinkers, but light loads will leave a half jacket in the bore.

I still have to put together a Soft point load. I suspect it will be very similar to the FMJ load.

I use 14.5 gr H110 all the time with 110 jacketed bullets, works fine for me.

Yep, kind of go with Sunray except the Speer Plinkers are very
destructive. The one I have used that is equally destructive
and I have been using since the early 60s in my Win. M1 30 Cal
is the Hornaday 30 Half Jacket 100 grain. Even use it in the 30-06
for varmits. Reason is, I get a bit more accuracy with my loads using
2400 powder. For deer, if that's all ya got and it's legal in your
state, I would use a jacketed expanding bullet that was most
accurate in your rifle, and leave the half jackets for varmits. I
first used this bullet in the 30-06 with 4759 (no longer made). At
reasonable ranges, a running body hit would half a jack rabbit and
sitting shots, pretty much leave a head and ring of fur. Velocities were
between 1800 and 2000 fps:)
