Hi!
I am new here.
I just aquired a H&R 922 with a serial of 818XXX, (no letter pre-fix).
It is a 6 inch round barrel with a gold front sight, and a one piece checkered walnut grip.
Any idea on the age?
Thanks!
Bob

Because the Harrington & Richardson Company is long gone, and so far as I know, no one has published a serial number vs. year made list There isn't any way to exactly date your revolver. But if it has wood (rather then plastic) grips and a brass (gold) front sight it was likely made before 1950.

Thanks!
Do you know if it true, someone said that H&R started using letter prefixes in 1940?
