Titan6 March 17, 2007, 09:32 PM Not lead shot. But accuarcy is terrible at any range past 10 feet. M2 Carbine March 18, 2007, 12:06 AM No, the gun will not be damaged in any way. I've loaded 38 Special shot shells since 1967. Untold numbers of Copperheads and Rattlesnakes met their end from #8 shot from my S&W 2 inch J Frame.:) The shot will drop a big snake out to 12 feet. Every summer I load two shot shells, first up, in my J Frame walking around the place gun. jhnpeterman March 18, 2007, 11:08 AM That's exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks!
