Which Marlin? .22LR semi-auto, lever action?

Marlin triggers have no user adjustments on the triggers, but a gunsmith can work on it to lower the pull weight.

Depending on the model, there may be an aftermarket drop-in trigger that will help the pull.

You can "do" the trigger yourself if you are handy with your hands, or you can buy a Rifle Basix trigger and save time. The Marlin has one of the easiest triggers to lighten. I got mine down to 2.5 lbs with no creep and it breaks like the proverbial glass rod. I could have lightened it more, but I wanted a hunting/field trigger.

Go to Rimfire Central to find out information on Marlin triggers.
