Does anyone know how to remove the gas piston from the slide assembly on the Winchester Model 100 semi automatic rifle?

Also where to buy a new one or will I have to have one made by a machinist since mine is pitted badly and is leaking so much gas that it will not always cycle the bolt and eject the empty shell casing.

Can't tell you how to get it out, but Numrich www.gunpartscorp.com has gas cylinder parts, etc. for the Model 100 and they sell schematics, so that might help with the dissasembly.
