Well, not really. :evil: You know those fatal combinations, alcohol and cars, alcohol and women, etc, etc. There was no alcohol involved, but my own peculiar fatal combination is the gun range and the gun shop being about a mile from one another. It is almost impossible to go to one and not end up at the other. I guess it is a character weakness. ;)
Anyway, I was off to the range to spend some time with my Taurus 85. I stopped at the gunshop to buy a speedloader for the thing. There in the case was a barely used S&W 638-2. To make a long story a little shorter, that speedloader fits that Smith just as well as it fits the Taurus. And now, the Smith is in my pocket and the Taurus is in the used case!
