MT requires a permit for a gun "concealed by clothing" and only that. No permit is required for concealed carry outside of town or below the high water mark of any body of water, whether in town or not. 98% of MT is not in any town, and, therefore does not require a CCW. Concealed by clothing means only that. In my purse is not considered to be concealed by clothing and does not require a permit.


Somebody on the FSP mailing list posted this. Is it true?
