I doubt that anyone would ever entertain anything resembling common sense thinking on any subject, much less firearms, in the state of Maryland.

This article is all the more reason for me to long for the day when I can get back to the Shenanoah Valley.

:scrutiny: Well, it'll be interesting the first time some student gets 'caught' with an unloaded rifle or shotgun in his/her car trunk and subsequently gets suspended or expelled. The student would IMO then have excellent grounds to sue the school district.

I have no tolerance for zero tolerance. It's a moronic knee-jerk notion that does not take specific circumstances into account. It also 'presumes guilty' and does not allow for due progress.
