I just bought a homely old Rossi model M677 in .357 mag for $120 less than a week ago and got a chance to wring it out yesterday.
Folks, I've owned at least 8-9 snubbies and this old beater shoots with the best of any of them. I put about 75 rounds of .357 mag and .38 spcl ammo through it at between 7 and 10 yards. I used two 8" Shoot'n'C targets and kept all 75 rounds in the black......not a single flyer! I tried both SA and SA with the same results. Trigger was beautiful in both DA and SA.
My only discomfort was the back of the trigger guard tattooed the joint on my middle finger on the .357 loads.
Again, another ATTABOY to Jim March for publishing his "WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN A USED REVOLVER" article on-line. Using those guidelines, I have now bought two excellent specimens for bargain prices. I don't think I'll ever pay new price again for any revolver because of what I've learned.
Your comments are always welcome
