I was curious as to whether or not I could get a parkerized gun (the Springfield G.I. 1911) nickelplated. If so does anyone know how much this might cost or how long it would take? Thanks in advance, see ya later

Absolutely you can. You'll have to have the parking removed first, but it's doable. Not real sure about pricing, though.

APW charges $185 for a matte or brush nickel finish on a pistol.
They charge $100 extra for a bright shiny polish because it is so time consuming to do right. You would have to ask them about their turnaround time.
