Sling is a good ole' Uncle Mikes. Picked it up at the local gun monger for around $20-$25. Don't remember the actual price. I am sure you can go online and get one directly from Uncle Mikes.
It will weigh down the front a bit but doesn't effect my shooting at all. Actually a side benefit is it might help pull the muzzel down a bit under recoil. I have been really happy with it. The pad under the shell holders is nice and thick also.

Remington Model 17 in 20ga. It's beautiful. And, NO that is NOT a refinish job on the metal. The stock is, but can you tell?

Picked it up for $110 at a Pawn Shop with the toe of the stock split. I trimmed it down a bit and recontoured it to the best of my abilities. Sanded and refinished the stocks, cleaned all of the LATEX PAINT that was speckled all over the finish and wiped the 60 years of dust off the gun.
WOWIE. :) :what: :D :neener:
Of course, I had been looking for one for about 5 years solid... every gun shop every day, to find the holy grail. Next stop, the Remington 31!

A real classic, Badger. Good luck on the 31, I note from the ads in Shotgun Sports prices are climbing fast.

That would be interesting. Trying to bird hunt with that one.
Unfortunately I live and hunt in a shot gun only area. It's a couple hour drive to a area that I can hunt with rifles.
So I have the rifled barrel Mossberg Trophy for whitetail duty.

On left; 870 Youth Express, 20 Ga., 4 rnd Sidesaddle, 8 rnd extended tube (Custom by George Stringer), 20" Remchoke barrel.
On right' 870 WM, 12 Ga, 18" used police barrel w/bead, 6 rnd Sidesaddle, Blackhawk Sling, Extended safety, Scattergun Tech 6 rnd tube extension, Blackhawk Ammo/Cheek pouch. My first try at a Camo job since I had to trim the foreend for the Sidesaddle.
Super slick action. If you'll notice the 12 ga is shorter than the 20 ga.

I really want one of those Winchester Defenders. Are they available in stainless? Is it difficult to ad a recoil pad?

Here are mine:
Remington 100 12ga. with extensions, will hold 9 in the tube.
The smoothest gun I have ever handled (I can empty 10 rnds from it in 2.5 seconds, and keep them in the A-zone at 20 yds)
Mossberg 500 Cruiser (works great for me in this configuration)

Hey starfuryzeta, where'd you get that SPAS 12?
Bought it from an acquaintance about four years ago. It didn't have the folding stock, but it did have the safety modification.
