having already drillied and tapped my 91/30 i was taking the sights off and the rear sight has a perfect 3/8" weaver rail holding it on.... well it wasn't perfect but it was pretty close, so i pulled the scope off my 10/22 and who woulda guessed the rings mounted on perfect

granted you would need a eer pistol scope to make this work but i just wish i would have know this before i went through the hassle of drilling and tapping and breaking taps and grinding and bleeding and.... ggggrrrrr :cuss:

has anyone tried this ??

There's this guy named Darrell and he makes a scout scope mount that attaches to the rear sight on the 91/30 and a coupla other rifles. No drilling required.

That site seems to be down... Anyone know where I might be able to get one of these, or if anyone sells variants of these?

I have one on my M38. Solid and consistent.
