Just wondering where you guys go shooting at in Oregon.I live in Eagle creek and head up the mountains and find places to shoot...Just wondering if there was any better place to shoot that i didnt know of..

Portland checking in. We have a Washington State Parks department-run range up in Vancouver that's not bad. Occasionally a bunch of friends and I will pack up and head off into the wilds North of Mt Hood. There's also a place east of Estacada affectionately known as The Dump, but I've never been there. Have to try it out sometime...

I shoot cas at sherwood and albany and the Dalles.
I also sight-in and work up loads at the Ranier trap club....they have a pistol range and a 100 yd range with covered benches.

I think a few years ago i went to the "Dump" as you call it..Its only like 10 miles from where i live so im gonna go up there this weekend and see if i can find it or a place like it..I remember when i went we were there and there were other people up there.I like shooting with friends but i dont like having to many strangers around shooting also..

I live in Clackamas. I've been up to the "dump" a few times. I think that it is just a few miles past the Memaloose bridge on the left. I also lik to shoot the pratical rifle and IPSC matches at Tri-county.

Nope, the Dump is not up that road. Don't cross the bridge and proceed another 2 miles. It's on the left.

Most of the people you'll see there are from one gun board or another.

Most always a good time to be had. I might head up Sunday after, after hitting the gun show this Saturday for ammo.

There's a small army of us now, none to be considered strangers. :rolleyes:

Grants Pass. I shoot at the JCSA park in Merlin. Pretty nice place with nice people and a gazillion areas to shoot just about anything.
