Nice book collection. The gun is cool, too! Stock looks kind of funny.
What kind of optics are you using?

Nice looking shooter. I own a Bushy, but I have been impressed with the Rock River products lately. Especially their triggers. Is that the ACE stock?

yup, It's an ACE stock. Yeah, kinda funny
looking. Fiddled with the 3 point attachment
all over the place. That is where it landed
for me. Perhaps if the front site ramp, side
sling assembly were futher down the
barrell, I'd see some reason to use
the sling swivel up close to the reciever
the way I see a lot of other rigs done.
The optics, Its an Aimpoint 5000.
Oh yeah, the books. Funny, I hadn't
really paid attention. I think they say
too much :)

Nice rifle.
How do you like the Aimpoint?
I really want a Comp M to go on my 9mm RR AR, but I'd kinda like a slightly cheaper alternative.

Book, Old
Carbine, New
I'm pleased with this carbine. I think it works really well. I've put about 2K through it, and I haven't had it long.
I came onto this little plastic toy gun thing very reluctantly. I'm one of those M1A/Garand, wooden stock and .30 calibre or it's a toy types.
I had an M16A1 for all of two weeks before
managing to always carry either a M60 or a shotgun. Hated the M16. It was a hard sell to get me into one of these.
With that barrel, It ain't a light as some. But it is a whole lot more "manueverable" than my M1A, and with the Aimpoint it aquires pretty quickly :)
Lots of bullets don't weigh much. Mags are a lot cheaper and it's much cheaper to shoot.
It was years of arguing on TFL that got me to give this type weapon another chance. I'm quite pleased.
It's a whole lotta fun for plinking. It's been very reliable for me thusfar. I bought a dozen of those "England" steel mags and one had 2 of them malfuction, They got tossed down range right off to help test the Aimpoint.
The Aimpoint I had on my shotgun. It's the wrong sight. I'll put a Comp M on there as soon as I can find one. Seems they've been in pretty high demand over the last year.
Had a dealer call me and say he got 2 of them in stock, but that a fellow had called and asked if he would hold them till he got the money together for his son. A Marine, who wanted them for his troops.
We helped him get the money together.
I can wait.

ARs a great, I want a third one.
The ML2 Aimpoints are awesome. It is "just" a reddot sight but it will run a long time on one battery. 100% parallax free. 10 warranty too.
Mine isn't a RRA, Bushy barrel and lower, I put everything else on.
picture next post
Well, I guess if your curious to see it, my AR, isn't posted in the reloading forum :http://www.thehighroad.org/attachment.php?s=&postid=314375
