I see AIM has these in excellent condition, with holster and extra 12
round magazine for 199.95. They say in the ad these are C&R.
That is great. These are apparently the current Czech service weapon.
I would not expect many to be imported, and this pistol should prove
to be a good investment (if any firearm can be called such).

I've seen one of those in a shop. Nice guns. I didn't know they were C&R eligible. I wouldn't mind having one of them myself.

They have been importing them for quite a while now. I have several Mil Sup pistols and I'm very impressed with the CZ-82.

Cool! I'm calling them Monday. Glad I picked up some 9x18 at the last gunshow
I was looking at them when they first got them but didn't notice they were C&R. A CZ82 would go nicely with my CZ collection and at the same time would be a nice companion to my EG Makarov.
Thanks for the heads up chestnut ridge. :)

I ordered my CZ 82 from AIM this morning. In fact, I decided that 2 would be better than 1, and AIM has the best price on the Internet. df

AIM is also backordered on them. Seems they are popular. I ordered one when told that they expected more "in a couple of days". SOG doesn't have them listed as C&R. Interesting.

I ordered mine 1st thing Monday morning. The woman told me they still hadn't even sorted and inspected them yet. They must have gotten slammed with orders for them.
Mine comes tommorow, but I called early monday AM, might get another to accompany it it seems good

I wrote this about the CZ82 9x18 Mak I recently purchased:
"...this pistol is like new inside but the exterior has chips missing from its paint. The factory grip feels great in my size 12 hands and it has very good sights. I have strong hands but the magazine was hard to load to capacity, I will try to find a loading tool somewhere. This pistol is combat accurate and 100% reliable. My major faults with the CZ82 9x18 Mak are it is a larger pistol, many 9mms are not much bigger and it exhibits stout recoil. If one were looking for a carry weapon I am sure they would be better served by a subcompact 9mm."
I like the feel of the CZ82 as well as the Beretta 84 Cheetah and it is a lot less expensive. In the end, I hope you enjoy your new toy.
