Cz75 PCR

I was out by Manasas yesterday and so I stopped into VA Arms, just browsing, don'chaknow.
Having read many favorable comments about CZ pistols, I asked to see the compact lightweight PCR. So, LIke, WOW! What a nice pistol. It just fit my hand so well, the trigger was so nice, action so smooth, >$500 - I just had to bring it home. :o
Upon further inspection (had to clean & lube it up right before a range session, afterall), I must say I'm VERY impressed with the workmanship on this gun, very much on par with any of my SIGs.:D
I will report back shortly after some shots fired. In the meantime, I couldn't find any leather for this puppy on the 'ready -to-wear' rack at the shop, any suggestions on a good source for a CCW holster?

UT83 at the czforum makes them. Here is a link to a thread there that discusses PCR holsters: http://pub105.ezboard.com/fczechpistols82792frm55.showMessage?topicID=132.topic

I chose the PCR over a Sig 228, not for price, but that it fit my hand better and I like the placement of the controls. I have not been dissapointed. It is a superb firearm and is my primary CCW. I just got two hicap (14 round) mags for it.

Mike, stay tuned on the leather, I am having one made now...I'll let everyone know how it is when it shows up. The maker outsourced the stitching and his timeline has slipped.

Mike,
Congrats on the PCR. :D I know you will enjoy it. I second the recommendation for Eric's holsters (UT83 on the CZ forum, PCRCCW on this forum) He has great attention to detail and the holsters have excellent retention. He will build it how you want it. He is making me one for my P-01 now.

The PCR is an outstanding weapon. It's a dead ringer to the SIG P228 in all dimensions, while fitting my hand better than anything else in that size class. I traded a P226 with night sights for my PCR, and haven't regretted it.
Once nice thing about the CZ-75 line is that they fit most holsters made for identically sized pistols due to the fact that a CZ-75 is very slim for its size. My PCR fits like a glove into my Don Hume PCCH made for a P99, my Mitch Rosen ARG made for a S&W 40xx, and into my Galco Summer Comfort made for the SIG P226.

Note to all, don't try to use it in a Glock 29/30 holster. It will sit in there, but its like throwing it in a bucket! :D

Congratulations on your new PCR Mike..:)
I own a fullsize CZ75B myself and one of my IWB holster is made by Eric..He is the man you should be considering to get in thouch with if it is a leather holster you're after. He has a PCR himself and he should know what is best for yours :)
This is his own PCR w/his made holster.

We've found that DeSantis holsters for the S&W CS9 work very well for the compact CZ-75B, the P-01, and the PCR.
The compact CZ-75B in 9mm can be carried hammer down, safety off; or cocked and locked. Why they haven't delivered a 40 S&W compact '75B is baffling.
